Susan Boyle Does Not Have Asperger's
Once again, I here the lamestream media using autism/Asperger's as yet another cause celebre or diagnosis du jour, this time claiming that Susan Boyle suffers from the condition. For those of you who are unaware, Susan Boyle is an old, ugly lady from Scotland who did well on Britain's Got Talent because she could sing songs from Les Miserables. She now claims that she has been "diagnosed" with the condition, but that it doesn't define her (so at least she's not totally ND). Since she resides in Britain, I wonder if this "diagnosis" was performed by Dr. Simon Baron-Cohen, an ND who has "diagnosed" multiple celebrities without ever having met them. Maybe next he'll diagnose his cousin Borat. Doing this is offensive and potentially harmful to people who are genuinely autistic and need a cure. About a year ago, New York Magazine wrote a brilliant article about how autism and Asperger's are becoming commonly-used terms to describe socially awkward people, and how that is causing sources to be diverted that actually help autistic people. I checked ND's website shortly after I read the tabloid article claiming Susan Boyle had been diagnosed, but so far they had nothing about it. Maybe after they read this post, they'll put something up "celebrating" another autistic person. Autism is something to cure, not celebrate. If we don't celebrate cancer and AIDS, we shouldn't celebrate autism.

Are you a doctor? No you are not. Susan is Asperger's. Publicly accept it, unless you have medically proficient proof to the contrary.

A court can't find him insane, but they can send him for an analysis and that analysis will say he's insane. But it has to be ordered. Any ideas how we could arrange that?
How about welfare fraud? He's no more Asperger's than Susan Boyle, you agree? Wouldn't that be a case of welfare fraud?

Common law assualt does not equal brutalization.
No it is not. The judge said the incident was "minor". A "violent" assault is not and can never be minor. As the judge also stated "It certainly does not justify an allegation that the plaintiff had on more than one occasion caused serious physical injury to others, or that he had a “history of brutality”"
Do you now understand the difference, Oliver? I repeat that you need to be careful. John owes a lot of money for this. If you were sued you could be up for a similar amount.

Oliver, you are not a doctor so you can not undiagnose Susan Boyle. She is Autistic and you are lying to say otherwise.

You are wrong and you have no back up to prove it. Your continual refusal to accept this reflects on your psychological stability and connection with reality. I saw that you claimed to have improved your life while claiming someone else hasn't. It is a failing of life improvement to lie about others to make yourself look better, and I say that without knowing if this other person is improving their life or not. Susan has. You certainly haven't if this is a guide. Seek help, please.
While, I agree that you do not have the medical authority or data to diagnose or undiagnose her, and while I also lack those two things, I must admit I agree with you. Granted, I have never paid much attention to her, but what I've seen of her, I haven't really noticed any Aspergian traits from her. I'm sure the doctors properly diagnosed her and with good reason, but I just don't see it.
